The Client:
Worse Things
The Ask:
Worse Things is a post-rock/grunge band from Buffalo, NY. They needed an album cover for their newest release, Shallow Faith, and it needed to evoke the same emotion as the intense, deep melodic songs featured on the album.
The Execution:
The image of a girl gazing out the window embodies the idea of seeking something more. The rip and glitch effects were created manually using a scanner and a photograph. The album was finished in Photoshop.
Additionally, I created a sticker for the band, inspired by one of their favorite horror movies, and tweaked it to be its unique style for the band.
